Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zynaptic Academy / CampusOS, operated by Zynaptic Academy ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or accessing the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or enrolled by a college program with appropriate consent.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
  • One account per individual. Sharing logins is grounds for termination.
  • For college enrolments, accounts are provisioned and de-provisioned per the college's contract.

3. Acceptable use

  • No scraping the question bank, mock papers, or AI tutor responses for redistribution.
  • No automated tools to brute-force assessments, falsify integrity signals, or evade proctoring.
  • No uploading content you don't own or have rights to share.
  • No attempting to access another user's data or admin functions.

4. Content ownership

Questions, problem sets, mock papers, study tracks, and D.R.O.N.A output are our intellectual property. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning.

You retain ownership of content you submit (code submissions, written answers, resumes). You grant us a limited license to process this content to operate the platform and to power features you opt into (e.g., AI tutor explanations).

5. Subscriptions & billing

  • Free tier is available for self-signup students.
  • Paid subscriptions (monthly / annual) renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
  • College contracts have their own billing terms — refer to your TPO.
  • Refunds: pro-rata refund available within 7 days of purchase if you've completed fewer than 5 sessions.
  • AI tutor credits, once consumed, are not refundable.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime.

7. Integrity & proctoring

Proctored assessments capture tab visibility, copy/paste counts, and similar integrity signals. We may invalidate scores that show clear evidence of cheating.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via support.

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee placement outcomes — we provide preparation tools and analytics. Your placement depends on many factors beyond our control.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

For college-program enrolments, contract-specific addenda may override certain clauses of these Terms — refer to your college's agreement.
